The ThinLine Half Pad is 1/4 inch thick and is part of the basic ThinLine pad series that is designed to provide shock absorption and back protection for the young or green, or sore backed horse to encourage proper back usage and muscle development. Also the ideal ThinLine pad for beginning rider and lesson horse until basic seat stability is established. This pad will mold to your horse's shape when warmed to body temperature, and should be used on top of your regular saddle pad, directly underneath your saddle. It does flex and move with horse so there is no pinching or pulling.
