The Shenandoah Sure Grip Non-slip pads are the the best out there! Every detail of the design has been meticulously thought out. The high wither relief cut back front will accommodate any horse. There are graduated levels of protection on each pad. PVC open weave material protects the spine beneath the saddle where it is most needed. These layers of the shock absorbing material decrease as they extend down the sides and away from the spine. Two layers run along the bottom, to reduce bulk under the rider's leg. Broad wear leathers prevent damage to the pad itself and helps the pad to stay flat at all times. Anti-bacterial material next to the horse is easy to clean and care for. Just wipe it off with a wet cloth or sponge. Now a top layer of Equisuede has been added to the top of this super pad. Equisuede is a patented fabric that breathes from the inside but is near water proof from the outside. This made a great pad look even better---like pads that sell for over $150.00.
