Stirrups actually made for the trail rider who uses an English saddle. What makes them different is that the foot rest area is much larger than a traditional stirrup. By giving the rider a larger bearing surface, this stirrup can reduce fatigue and increase security! The stirrup iron is also offset so that heels stay down in a much safer position. Comes with standard rubber stirrup pads and a set of sandpaper pads for good grip in wet conditions and can be used without pads in snow or mud situations. Sold as pairs.
Three pairs of stirrups for the price of one!
If you are an English trail rider these stirrups are made for you.

I just wanted to thank you and praise you on these wonderful stirrups! I have not had the need to use the 'safety' aspect, but have found that these are the most comfortable stirrups I have ever used. There seems to be extra width at the base of the stirrup where the pad sits which provides the greatest comfort and support for the ball of my foot. I am thinking the reason for this is of the angle of the outside of the stirrup. I had a friend try them that rides western and she could not believe the difference between these stirrups and my old ones. I ordered the largest size you have and am now finding with the colder weather that my heavier insulated boots fit safely and comfortably in them. Thank you once again.
