Exselle Paddock Riding Boots![]()
Paddock Boots for English Riders Paddock boots are ankle height and used mostly for pleasure riding and work around the stable. However, they may also be worn by children for showing. Better paddock boots will have an extra piece of leather over the slightly rounded and narrow toe. This is called a toe cap. The shape is so the rider can place their foot into the stirrup easily and the extra leather helps retain it's shape and last longer. There are lace up paddock boots as well as zip up paddock boots. You will also see them combined with half chaps which will protect clothing and the riders leg. |
