A curb strap restricts the port from ever touching the roof of the horses mouth. This bit has the weight that allows the bit to do the work without a lot of pulling from the rider. This bit is designed to product a signal with less pain using tongue relief, bar pressure and curb chain pressure and is designed to be used in many disciplines.
